Monica Weeks, a Native American raised on a Navajo reservation, will relate her inspiring story of surviving racial hatred, alcoholism, domestic and sexual violence, and scaling barriers posed by being a woman of color.
Weeks’ journey included time spent in Christian boarding schools, the US Army, and federal and private employment, where despite challenges she became an IT specialist and went on to excel in software engineering for General Dynamics Missions Systems.
