NYC (P) Improv for Introverts …. And Extroverts
Wednesday, June 26, 2024, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (ET)
Have you ever felt uncomfortable at an event – like a TTN
(Now Women's Connection)
because you don’t know anyone?
Do you sometimes find it difficult to meet people and start a conversation? We've all been there. So, what’s the answer?
Improv Training
. And we’re not talking about a life on the stage.
We talking about using the skills of Improv to help people decrease social anxiety. Improv has real benefits for regular people!
It can lead to an increased sense of comfort and confidence and a greater ability to navigate social situations. ANYONE can improvise – introverts as well as extroverts.
Join us for this super fun class, targeted to making social interactions easier. 90 minutes with Carl Kissin, master Improv teacher. Carl will guide us through a bunch of targeted exercises where we’ll learn how to “play” creatively while building confidence as well as cooperative and interpersonal skills – in a safe, supportive environment with lots of laughter.
Some of the games we’ll play teach valuable skills like thes
e:
“
Yes…And” a surprisingly simple way of adding on to other people’s ideas.
“Personal Branding” (a naming game): How to make confident, stress-free choices.
“News Reporter” learning how to be both specific and playful, and make deeper connections with others.
Our Presenter: Carl Kissin
