Camp Sojourner, Girls’ Leadership Camp helps Philadelphia girls become leaders who take charge of their own lives and act as agents of positive change in their communities. The camp host girls ages 8-18 at Camp Sojourner, ourovernight summer camp program, and offers year-round mentoring, service projects, creative arts, and leadership activities.
Activity: We will divide into several small groups, each group being comprised of a few volunteers and a few girls. We will garden, chat, and get to know each other. Perhaps some mentorship opportunities will develop as a result of connections made during the time we are with the girls.
Volunteer activity will be held at Bartram’s Garden
5400 Lindbergh Blvd, Philadelphia PA 19143
Parking: Large visitor parking lot
Coordinator: Carol Cunningham

Maximum number of volunteers: 10
In Honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Giving Circle highlighting the “Year of the Child”, TTN Philadelphia is joining with Giving Circle members to make June “Volunteer Month.” Camp Sojourner is one of six volunteer activities. And you can now sign up for more than one event. If there is a waitlist, we will consider offering this volunteer opportunity again in the fall.
