CHI (V) - Leaking Secrets: A Health Seminar for Breaking the Silence

Do you ever leak a little urine? Even when you cough or sneeze or laugh really hard? Have you experienced pain with sex? Do you avoid intimacy with your partner, feeling like sex is not pleasurable? If you answered YES, maybe, or hesitated answering any of these questions, you may have pelvic floor issues.

Join us to learn more about pelvic floor issues that affect women over 50. We want to break the silence around this topic and increase awareness of pelvic floor rehabilitation. You’ll learn more about chronic pelvic floor issues, its connection to chronic orthopedic conditions, and how to make the changes you need to meet your goals.
This event is sponsored by the Caring Collaborative and is open to all TTN Chicago members.

Jessica Corman has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and her practice is rooted in curiosity and the desire to empower her patients. I have ten years of experience working with patients with chronic conditions especially those involving the spine, pelvic floor, and hips. She has training in Functional Manual Therapy (FMT) and her holistic approach to practice is informed by her personal experiences with injury and physical rehabilitation. She is a friend of TTN Chicago, sharing her insights on better posture during the pandemic.
