NYC ( P) - Sunday Trip to Governors Island (10am ET)

Sunday, June 19, 2022, 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM

Do you like to Explore NYC on the weekends?

Then join us for this annual TTN event.

There’s much to see on Governors Island,
and you will make some new TTN friends too.

We’ll reserve ferry tickets for everyone and will take the ferry to Governor’s Island together for a bring-your-own lunch at picnic tables in Nolan Park.

You’ll mingle with current and prospective TTN Members. We’ll then explore the Island’s Historic District together and enjoy the beautiful views of Lower Manhattan.  Return with us on the 1pm ferry or stay as long as you wish - your return ferry ticket is good all day.

We supply maps and more activity ideas:
  • Visit Fort Jay or Castle Williams.
  • Take a leisurely stroll along the island promenade.
  • Check out the “Hills” area with superb views of the Statue of Liberty.
  • Visit contemporary art and photography exhibits in former officers’ homes.
  • Learn about the island’s flora and fauna. Rent a bike or a surrey.
  • Stay a few hours with us, or spend the whole day!

The ferry returns to Manhattan every 40 minutes, no reservation required.
