TTN (V) - Thrive: The Power of Friendship, Pandemic Version (4 pm ET)
The Power of Friendship:
Pandemic Version
When science journalist Lydia Denworth spoke to us, her book, Friendship: The Evolution, Biology, and Extraordinary Power of Life's Fundamental Bond, had just been published to acclaimed reviews, the pandemic lock-down had recently begun, and we were entering a new world of uncertainty.
Now, two years later, we’re no longer locked down, but we are still very much living in uncertain times. For many of us, friends old and new played a big part in helping us get through challenging times.
But did we lose friends or pick up new ones along the way? How was the essence of friendship affected by the pandemic? For the answers to these and many more intriguing questions, TTN welcomes back Lydia Denworth, who will share her thoughts about:
- Why friendships are more important than ever
- How our friendships may have shifted during the pandemic
- How we can beef up our possibly rusty friendship skills
- Why we may evaluate our friendships differently going forward
We hope you’ll join us for what is sure to be an engaging and thought-provoking discussion about friendship, one of TTN’s most important raisons d'etre.
