BOS (V) - What Makes A Good Ally with Dr. Raul Fernandez
It's 5:00 Somewhere Cocktail Hour
December 2
at 5:00 pm ET
What Does it Mean to Be a Good Ally?
What is Allyship?
"Nobody's free until everybody's free."
-
Fannie Lou Hamer, Civil Rights Movement Leader
We have heard the term 'Allyship' used a great deal since the murder of George Floyd and the subsequent racial unrest.
But what does it mean and how does one become a good ally?
Join Dr. Raul Fernandez in an engaging discussion on how and why we must join together to make progress. You'll learn how to get started, what mistakes to avoid, and how to use your positionality to help advance the rights of others.
