PHL (V) - What You Need to Know About Solo Aging (3pm ET 11/30)

What You Need to Know About Solo Aging
Beverly Bernstein Joie

Wednesday, November 30, 2022
3pm - 4:30pm Eastern Time
Members:  $10       Non-Members $15

Given that 27% of the aging population are Solo Agers, the ability to navigate the issues of aging alone warrant consideration. Those without a spouse, children or available family find themselves in uncertain territory at a time when they are the most vulnerable.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a road map of strategies, tools, and resources to navigate this terrain and to consider the role of a supportive team under your leadership. We will explore the components of the team, the expertise necessary to work with you for this purpose, and the issues that warrant thought and planning.

Participants will explore their individual concerns and identify their unique vulnerabilities while beginning an Action Plan to mitigate fear and build a strong supportive infrastructure. Going it alone is not a viable option.  Rather, the focus is on orchestrating pathways in which to design your specific plan tailored to your wants and needs.

The workshop will be structured with a presentation, small group interaction, and Q & A.
