Exhibition of TTN member's Paula Shur's abstract photography at Perspective Gallery in Evanston. Gallery Opening Feb 4th 5-7 p.m.

Paula Shur is a fine art photographer based in Chicago. Her images are abstract portraits depicting stages of life as we pass through time. Her work is mindful of moments that represent emotional experiences and events. They include the exuberance of youth, awakenings about identity, moments of keen insight, body/attitude changes and awareness of our value to others. She has done this by constructing digital composites from elements of her of photographic work. The results are images consisting of layered memories of a life lived.
