Featured grantee for March: Too Young To Wed
By informing girls and families of their rights, providing access to education, financial inclusion, and mentorship, this project will reduce the occurrence of child marriage and Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) while increasing school attendance and literacy. Together Women Rise grant amount: $50,000.
For our March Together Women Rise chapter meeting we return to our in-person potluck! Our host lives in Bethesda, off River Road. We will share more details with those who have registered closer to the date. (If you’re coming by metro or need a ride, we will be organizing a shuttle/car pool to the house.)
