IT'S A DOUBLE HEADER, A TWO-FOR-ONE IN APRIL!

Our DC Together Women Rise chapter will be meeting remotely on Zoom, Wednesday , April 19, 7-8:30 pm ET, with TWO grantee guests. Both of our grantees work in women's health, in different countries, on different continents, and so our meeting will be a broader "big picture" discussion of the challenges - cultural, logistical, organizational, political - of providing health services to women in low income countries. Our guests will be Asia Blackwell, Executive Director of Maya Midwifery International (February's grantee in Guatemala), and a board member of The MoonCatcher Project (April's grantee in East Africa). While there is no charge for this event, we encourage donations to Together Women Rise to continue support these critical efforts around the world. You'll learn more about giving during and after the meeting.

Zoom details will be shared about two days in advance with those who have registered. Please note: to respect the time and energy of our guests, this event will be canceled if fewer than 8 people register.
