In Exclusion, an award-winning historian is thrilled when her best-selling book about the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 is optioned for a mini-series by a Hollywood mogul. Her euphoria turns to disillusionment as she finds herself constantly defending its authenticity in the struggle between what’s true and what sells.

We will meet at 1:30 in the lobby of Arena Stage and take our seats in the Kreeger Theater around 1:45. After the show, we’ll head to Station 4 for a chance to catch up, share thoughts about the show, and have coffee or food (separate checks).

Tickets -- Read Carefully: This play is reserved seating. Tickets are either $76 or $95, plus fees of $8/ticket. Group tickets have been purchased and are Orchestra Center, Row H. This is now a buy your own ticket event. Make sure you buy a ticket for Saturday, June 10, 2:00 pm matinee. You can buy your ticket(s) here.

About transportation: Arena Stage (Mead Center) is convenient to the Waterfront Metro station. While there is plenty of garage parking in the area, it is some of the most expensive in the city. If you plan to drive, check out parking before you go. If you can offer a ride to another TTN theater goer, please let me know.

This performance does not require masking.

The Theater SIG is forming and the SIG and events are currently open to all TTN-DC members. Members may also bring a guest for a nominal charge. In order to attend this event you will need to both register and buy a ticket.
