Discover the beauty and history of this hidden garden with a private tour. Stay for lunch and a walk thru the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

Step through the Prairie-style Fullerton gate and enter a hidden garden. Only bird songs and the sound of a gentle waterfall break the restful silence. Lose yourself in the Lily Pool’s beauty while learning about its history, architecture, and Alfred Caldwell’s vision behind the landscape. A restoration with the Chicago Park District makes the Lily Pool the park’s only landscape with National Historic Landmark status.

Be sure to also register for Optional lunch @ 11:45 at The Patio at Café Brauer overlooking the pond at Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo. We’ll walk over together after the tour of the Lily Pool. Be prepared to pay for your own meal and beverage with cash or credit card.

Plus, after lunch we have a spot reserved for anyone who wants to take a stroll through the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

The Lily Pool is easily accessible by bus or bike. Street parking may also be available on Stockton or Cannon Drives between Diversey and Fullerton Parkways. You may also park in the zoo parking lot on the North End.
