NYC (V) - Medicare Forum for Retired NYC Employees Concerned about Your Health Benefits

We have heard from a number of our members who are retired NY City employees that they may be having difficulty deciding whether to utilize the new retiree Medicare Advantage plan taking effect this year or to opt out of the NYC plan and pay out of pocket for Medicare Supplemental and Prescription Plans in addition to their Medicare Part A & B insurance.

The Caring Collaborative has arranged for a Q and A Zoom session during which Eric Hausman, a Medicare expert from the NYC Department of Aging's Health Insurance Information Office, will provide objective information about the various Medicare insurance options currently available and where to find the exact costs of each option. You will be able to ask questions at this meeting. NOTE: This event will not be recorded.
