DC (V) - "Barbra Streisand on her long-awaited memoir" (7 pm ET)

We end 2023 TED Talk sessions not with a TED Talk but with a recent CBS Sunday morning interview with Barbara Streisand:

In her first autobiography, "My Name Is Barbra," the celebrated actress-singer-director writes of a life of heartbreaking deprivation and spectacular success and an artistic career lauded by critics and fans as peerless. She talks with "CBS Mornings" host Gayle King about her early years as a singer, Broadway performer, film star, and director; her romances and marriages; and the double standards applied to women who are perfectionists in their craft.

After this 13-minute conversation, we'll have a social discussion of what we heard and the resonance it has in our lives.

Monday, December 11, 2023, 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM
