TTN and Hunger Free America, a nonprofit that works to enact policies and programs aimed at ending domestic hunger, are co-hosting a virtual volunteer opportunity.

Hunger Free America operates a Hunger Hotline, which provides information to people who are looking for local food banks and other resources.

On November 9th we’ll place calls to food pantries and government offices to make sure the phone numbers and addresses in the Hunger Free America database are up to date.  This will ensure that the information Hunger Hotline employees give to callers is accurate.  (Note:  You won't be talking with people who call the Hunger Hotline.)

The Hunger Free America team will provide quick training before we start and will support us throughout the session.
