Pianist Richard Goode has been hailed for music-making of tremendous emotional power, depth and expressiveness.  He is acknowledged worldwide as one of today’s leading interpreters of Classical and Romantic music. In regular performances with the major orchestras, recitals in the world’s music capitals, and through his extensive and acclaimed Nonesuch recordings, he has won a large and devoted following.  His masterclasses are hailed as truly memorable events.

This master class is a unique opportunity to experience the artistry and expertise of this internationally-renowned pianist, up close. You'll witness how he works with and shares his insights with a carefully selected group of Curtis performers, which promises to inspire both students and audience alike - in the intimate setting of the Field Concert Hall.   Each student usually plays his/her piece straight through and then will receive comments and coaching by Mr. Goode.  Watch as the performer shows immediate improvement!
