NYC (V) Grief – An Emotional Journey

Thursday, November 30, 2023, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM ET

Let’s be real: The holidays can be a difficult time for people who are experiencing loss and are grieving for someone dear who has passed or who is ill. It can be helpful and healing to be in a safe supportive space to gain a deeper understanding not only of how grief operates, but also our own experience with it. Moreover, sharing these insights and experiences in a safe setting with others can help us envision – in fact, plan -- to move forward so that we find ourselves in a place of greater calm and peace.

TTN-NYC has arranged a special 2-hour Zoom workshop on November 30, from 6 to 8PM especially designed by Kathryn Kaplan, PhD.

She will make it comfortable for you to:

  • Learn to distinguish among four types of grief
  • Share your experience with grief
  • Plan one step for moving forward based on your new insights

Please note space is quite limited due to the intimate nature of the discussion.

 Our Presenter: Kathryn Kaplan
Kathryn Kaplan’s life was transformed by the death in 2021 of her beloved life partner. She is passionately involved in providing grief support to clients in her private practice, Heartfelt Spaces.

Building on her two previous careers as a psychiatric occupational therapist and
organization development consultant in healthcare, Kathryn demonstrates that we
can find new meaning in life when we allow ourselves to fully experience all our feelings, grieve our losses, and then turn our experiences into positive even joyful action by reaching beyond ourselves to helping others.
