DC (P) - "AU Museum at Katzen Center for the Arts" DC Museum SIG (Noon ET) March 2
About this event
Special Interest Groups are a member benefit. You will need to Login to Register.
The American University Museum at the Katzen Center for the Arts (Website) is one of our local museum gems. Four times a year, they install a suite of thought-provoking exhibitions. Let's take in their recently opened Spring Exhibitions including:
-- The Human Flood - Explore how mass migration caused by climate change is currently underway
-- Art and the Demands of Memory: Works by Second Generation Holocaust Survivors
-- New Perspective on the New Thing: A Photography Exhibition Documenting DC’s Revolutionary Community Arts Center
...and more!
We'll meet inside the Arts Center, at the entrance to the Museum on the 1st floor. After art, around 1:15, we'll head to Millie's on Mass Ave for lunch. Millie's is a short drive or a 15 walk from the museum. Menu here.
Free weekend parking is available in the garage under the Arts Center. The nearest Metro is Tenleytown, about 1 mile away--bus connections are available.
TTN Members who are not members of the Chapter or the SIG are welcome to sample up to three of this SIG's events. Members can also bring a non-member guest for a nominal fee.
