THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
TTN Allyship Workshop
Session 1  May 8th  7pm ET

"I've Unpacked My Invisible Knapsack of White Privilege, Now What?"
Donna Harris, Speaker

The TTN Allyship Workshop is a 4-part course that explores the topic of Allyship, focusing on what you can do to become a better ally. The full Workshop series will provide you with information, strategies, and skills that will deepen your knowledge on the topic and provide you with a path toward answering that oft-asked question, "What can I do?".
Session 1, "I've Upacked My Invisible Knapsack of White Privilege, Now What?", Donna Harris will set the stage for our exploration on Allyship.
The goal of this 90 minute presentation is to highlight the importance of allyship, and the individual preparation needed before running to the rescue of people with marginalized identities.  Ms. Harris will engage participants in examining barriers and points of confusion that typically emerge when people are faced with the desire to a be a good ally to people of color.

Donna's many years of experience teaching, consulting, and training in the area of Diversity & Inclusion have given her a rich background and expertise.   Donna is a licensed clinical social worker, the Director of Intercultural Counseling, LLC, a faculty member of Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Service and Social Research, a designer and facilitator of numerous workshops on a variety of topics including healing from racial trauma, implicit bias, addressing microaggressions, intercultural communication skills and many more relevant diversity topics.

Members and non-members are welcome to register. Invite a friend!  This first impactful session is open to all and required if you intend to take the full four week course.  It will be recorded and sent to all registered.
