About this event
American University is rated as one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. With more than 500 different species and varieties of woody plants.
We will enjoy a one-hour tour led by the Arboretum Manager.
After the tour, we will have lunch at Chef Geoff’s on New Mexico Ave. They restaurant offers outdoor paid parking. It is about half a mile from AU. You can see the menu at https://www.chefgeoff.com/cglunchdinner.
We’ll meet at the AU School of International Service (SIS) which is located on Nebraska Avenue at the intersection with New Mexico Ave on the first floor at the main entrance.
Parking is available under the building. The garage entrance is on Nebraska Ave at the intersection with New Mexico Ave. Parking is $2 per hour and we pay at the elevator lobby. You need to bring license plate number to the elevator lobby to put into the machine.
To get to the site by Metro get off on the Red Line at Tenleytown/AU stop and ride the free AU shuttle to campus.
