TTN member, Joy Loverde, the best-selling author of Who Will Take Care of Me When I’m Old? and the newly released 4th Edition of The Complete Eldercare Planner, is our presenter for this important event.  TTN Coast to Coast Chair, Roni Buckley, will facilitate this program.

Caregiving will impact your life - either as a caregiver, care receiver or bothWhy?  Longevity has given rise to a phenomenon that was once rare:  generations of family members and friends reaching old age together. When caregivers are over 65 years of age, they too may have significant health conditions.  At the same time one-third of America's population aged 45 to 63 is aging solo.  This growing population of solo agers requires even broader planning for caregiving.

When we plan, we make informed choices.  This is the foundation of Joy’s work. How we plan, what we plan for, and who we care for now hardly resembles caregiving as we had known it only a few years ago.

Caregiving Challenges & Opportunities: Raising Awareness, Particularly for Solo Agers raises awareness of the implications of caregiving and also explores the rewards of caring for others.  This presentation highlights carefully selected sections in both of Joy's books as a way for participants to gain an in-depth perspective on their role as caregiver now and in their later years.

The session will offer the opportunity for questions to be submitted to the chat and addressed by Roni and Joy at the end of the program.

We hope you join us for this engaging and important conversation.
