Join TTN's Museum Arts group for a visit to the whimsically named Not an Ostrich exhibit of more than 400 photos from the Library of Congress's vast collection of 14 million+. They trace the evolution of photography, from daguerreotypes and other early processes to contemporary digital technology. Not an Ostrich includes famous pictures, famous subjects, and famous photographers, along with less familiar ones. We will meet at 11:45 at the entrance to the Library of Congress's Thomas Jefferson Building (the main, old building), 10 First St SE, Washington, DC. We have a reserved timed entry for 12:00 (noon). Metro is probably the best bet. The Library of Congress is closest to the Capitol South and Union Station stops.
