Did you know that only 11% of museum acquisitions in the last decade were by women artists? The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) is the first museum in the world solely dedicated to championing women through the arts.
Our outing in December will take place on Wednesay, December 13th so we can take advantage of a Free Community Day at the newly re-opened National Museum of Women in the Arts. We take the short Collections Sampler Tour and then have time to view Exhibits and the new Open Studio.
At 1:30 we'll head to Modena Italian restaurant for lunch. See the menu here.
Members can bring a non-member guest for a nominal fee.
