Join us for a private Garden Highlights Tour through the classical English landscape structures and sculpture gardens at Morris Arboretum, a 92-acre Victorian arboretum in Chestnut Hill.
Watch for birds soaring amidst the elegant beauty of the 19th-century grounds, complete with a formal rose garden, majestic old and rare trees, and unusual plants from North America, Asia, Africa and Europe. A treasured site for horticulturists and art appreciators, the attraction includes an excellent collection of outdoor sculptures, including work by such well-known artists as George Rickey, Madeleine Butcher, George Sugarman and Linda Cunningham.
Our tour (10:30 am start) will cover a mix of Arboretum history, prominent trees in the collection, and signature areas in the gardens such as the Swan Pond, Fernery, and Log Cabin.
Please bring a picnic lunch if you would like to relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the picnic area after the tour. Drinks are available for purchase in the gift shop.
The tour will be held, rain or shine.
Please note that cancellations with refunds are accepted through Monday, June 3rd. Should you need to cancel within this timeframe, you will be issued a credit to your Women's Connection account, for future use.
