About this event

This May, MSP TTN, is organizing a volunteer event with Second Harvest Heartland. Members will be helping people in our community who are experiencing hunger. Second Harvest Heartland is a leading hunger-relief organization that is in partnership with more than 1,000 food shelves and hunger-relief programs in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Members will assist in the repackaging of large bulk food items into more manageable packaging. Example: 2000 pound containers of potatoes into 40 pound bags. You do not have to lift the 40 pounds if you do not feel able.

If you do not have a Second Harvest Heartland account:

Visit https://volunteer.2harvest.org/user/login/ and click on the “Haven’t Signed Up Yet? Click Here” button to create your volunteer profile and sign the online waiver.

If you do have a Second Harvest Heartland Account:

Step 3:

Once signed into your account, return to this email and click the group link here: TTN Women - May 29, 2024 @ 12:30pm to access the “Join this Group” page. Scroll to the bottom and click on the “Join this Group” button. You will need to be logged into your account to see this page.

Step 4:
If the Group is "full" or after 5/15/24 then if there is openings for the May 29th date, just sign up on your own and join us.
