Do you like to Explore NYC on the weekends?
Then join us for this annual TTN (Now Women's Connection) event. 

We’ll take the ferry to Governors Island together to explore the historic district, and visit the newest additions to the ever-changing landscape.

There’s much to see on Governors Island, and you will make some new friends too.

We’ll reserve ferry tickets for everyone and meet at the terminal at the tip of Manhattan for the 7-minute ferry ride to Governors Island.

Attendees From a Previous Year

You’ll mingle with current and prospective NYC Chapter Members at picnic tables in Nolan Park before our guided tour of the Island’s Historic District. Then we’ll stop by the Jazz Age Lawn Party to see the costumed dancers swinging to live jazz bands and the Lavender Festival.

Stay a few hours with us, or spend the whole day!
The ferry returns to Manhattan every 30 minutes, no reservation required.

 We supply maps, and more activity ideas:

• Visit Fort Jay or Castle Williams. 
• Visit contemporary art and photography exhibits in former officers’ homes. 
• Take a leisurely stroll along the promenade to the “Hills” area with superb views of the Statue of Liberty.
