Written by author Ann Patchett, these women learn about youthful love, married love, and the lives that parents can live before children arrive. As their mother recalls her past, each begins to reconsider everything they thought they knew about their mother. This novel’s audiobook version has the distinction of being narrated by Meryl Streep.
