Gustav Holst’s The Planets has shaped the sound of sci-fi, most famously inspiring John Williams’s “The Imperial March” from Star Wars. From the intensity of “Mars, Bringer of War” to the ethereal mystery of “Neptune, the Mystic,” discover the astrological characters of each planet in this singular journey through the cosmos.
And that's not the only journey in store. Italian composer Alfredo Casella's organ concerto is a thrill ride of emotion and spectacular sound. Sweeping and cinematic, this work raises the pulse with the boom of the timpani, the blare of brass, and the roar of the organ. Ravel's Lovely "Morning-Serenade of the Jester," full of Spanish flavor, opens this beautiful program by The Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Daniele Rustioni, joined by Noami Woo, host and soloists from the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir.
With stellar drinks, epic pre-concert activities, and music that will take you out of this world, this is destined to be the biggest happy hour in the galaxy!

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Friday, December 27, 2024 at 11:30 PM
Cancellation Policy:
If you are a member and cancel your registration before the specified deadline, you will receive a full refund as a credit to your account. You can use the credit to pay for another event or put it toward your annual dues payment. Non-members will receive a refund on their credit card, minus a $4 processing fee.
No refunds are available to members or non-members after the cancellation deadline.
