DC (P) A Guided Walk On Trails from Palyul Chöling Peace Park to the Buddhist Gardens in Poolesville
About this event
Bring your lunch and join us for conversation and introductions at the picnic tables on the grounds of the Kunzang Palyul Chöling Buddhist Temple.
This will be followed by a 45 minute guided walk on serene, rustic walking trails winding through woodlands, natural meadows, and a bubbling creek. Since the trails aren’t paved, please wear closed shoes suitable for walking. Five meditation gardens are spaced along the trails, each with stupas, crystals, and prayer wheels.
If the weather is over 65 degrees with no threat of thunderstorms, some of you may also want to visit the Garuda Aviary Sanctuary for Parrots at the same site.
