About this event
During the weeks leading up to Christmas in 1985, an Irish coal merchant and family man makes a discovery while delivering an order to the local convent. This discovery forces him to confront both his past and the silence of his town that is controlled by the church. This story of hope, quiet heroism, and empathy is written by Claire Keegan, one of the most critically lauded and internationally iconic writers of today.
The movie version of this book, starring Academy Award winner Cillian Murphy, will soon be showing in theaters.
