About this event
This Special Interest Group is a Women’s Connection member benefit. If you are new to the group, you need to log in to register.
Calling all readers! In January, the Book Lovers SIG will meet to discuss "James" by Percival Everett, the recent winner of the National Book Award for fiction. The book is a retelling Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," from the perspective of Huck's companion, an enslaved man named James.
We will meet at a member's home in Silver Spring. An address will be provided before the event. Registration is required only for those who are not regular members already RSVP'ing through the Bookclubs app.
