Our country continues to wrestle with divisive politics, health disparities, climate change, women's rights, voter suppression issues, and violence. All these issues are alarming to us, but impact people of color much more significantly.
This workshop explores the topics of white privilege, systemic racism, allyship, micro-aggressions, stereotypes and reparations in a unique, safe and non-judgmental way. Because we are intentionally focused on understanding the advantages we accrue simply because of the color of our skin, the program is specifically targeted for women who identify as white.
Carefully selected weekly materials take us on a progressive journey together. Utilizing a deep listening format that enables every voice to be heard, we share our stories, experiences, and feelings in a respectful, confidential manner with classmates from different backgrounds.

The Commitment
Classes meet once a week for 2 hours for a total of 7 sessions.
Attendance is key since you not only commit to the time required but to your classmates.
Weekly materials involve 2+ hours of reading, listening and viewing.
Materials are split into required and optional to help with your time management.

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Cancellation Policy:
If you are a member and cancel your registration before the specified deadline, you will receive a full refund as a credit to your account. You can use the credit to pay for another event or put it toward your annual dues payment. Non-members will receive a refund on their credit card, minus a $4 processing fee.
No refunds will be given to members or non-members after the cancellation deadline.
