The Dangers of Plastic.... Join us to learn about the toxicity of plastics, and how it is affecting our health and the health of our planet. Learn more about how and where it gets inside us. What is it doing to us? And importantly, how do we protect ourselves and our families? Come learn what you can do to reduce your own risk, and what steps we need to take as a community, nation and world.
Dr. Bridget Lee will discuss this critically important issue and leave time to answer your questions.

Dr. Bridget Lee is an emergency physician who lives and works in Boston. Dr. Lee became involved in sustainability in medicine about 6 years ago and is currently helping to build a sustainability working team at NeighborHeath in East Boston. Through this work, she learned of the plastic crisis and its devastating health impacts. Dr. Lee joined Beyond Plastics Speakers Bureau where she gives talks to help educate and encourage a cultural shift.
