About this event
Saturday, May 3, 2025 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM (ET)
Have changes in your personal or professional life left you feeling adrift?
Any major life transition can leave us questioning our identity and create confusing shifts in how we imagine our future.
If you need a new vision for your life, our Women in Transition workshop may be a good place to start. Based on William Bridges influential work, Transitions: Making Sense of Life's Changes, the workshop provides a guiding framework for:
- Understanding the process you travel through when you're in a transition.
- Discovering what's most important and energizing for you at this stage of your life.
- Creating an action plan.
One of the most valuable aspects of this workshop is that you'll explore your transition with an inspiring and supportive group of women who are taking a similar journey. The connections you make in this community will not only enrich your experience during the workshop but can also lead to friendships for the rest of your life.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have developed life transition goals and an action plan for next steps.
Workshop Logistics
This is an in-person workshop from 11:00am – 3:30pm. The workshop is limited to 20 participants.
We will meet as a larger group and then break up into small discussion groups to facilitate meaningful interpersonal connections and a deeper self-understanding.
There will be water, coffee and a few snacks. There will not be a break for lunch so please make sure you eat before you come.
Our Presenter: Rita Callahan
Rita has recently facilitated Women’s Connection workshops: Resilience, and Unpacking Whiteness, and Aging Alone Together, a DOROT workshop.
