About this event

Through a rich array of objects, from paintings, prints, and political cartoons to historic clothing, textiles, furniture, and ceramics as well as film and multimedia installations, WHOSE REVOLUTION provides a vivid and tangible sense of what it was like to live through this dramatic period of mounting tension and crisis and the significance of this history today.

Featured objects include Mary Jones Coat of Arms Needlework, as well as a lavish British Springfields silk gown and other historic textiles illuminating the expereinces of women and children. Also included in the exhibit is a media installation exploring the lives of free and enslaved Black people in Concord.

Registration is required
This is IMPORTANT:
To be able to schedule a tour guide, we will need at least 10 women to register by 5/13/25. If we do not have 10 people by that date, we cannot schedule the guided tour with someone from the museum. However, the exhibit is designed to be self-guided so we could visit the exhibit without a tour guide.
Following the exhibit , we will have lunch at the Colonial Inn in Concord (48 Monument Square, Concord. www.concordcolonialinn.com).
If you wish to participate in the guided tour, you MUST register by 5/13/25 online on the women's connection website (womenconnecting.org) AND register on the Concord Museum website to purchase tickets.(www.concordmuseum.org)
The fee for seniors (65+) is $13. Under 65, the fee is $16
Harriet will make reservations for the Colonial Inn so please let her know by 5/15/25 (hyoffee@gmail.com)
