CHI (P) - Chicago Jazz Fest

About this event

Chicago Jazz Fest is Chicago’s oldest free lakefront music festival. Esperanza Spalding is an American bassist, singer, songwriter, and composer. Her accolades include five Grammy Awards, a Boston Music Award, a Soul Train Music Award, and two honorary doctorates: one from her alma mater Berklee College of Music and one from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

Event is at the Pritzker Pavilion Lawn, East Side (see map below). There are two security entrances, on the north near Randolph Street/Harris Theater, and on the South on Monroe Street.

Please bring a blanket or chair to sit on, something to munch on and potentially share, personal beverage.

Meet at the lawn close to the yellow square on the map below. Text Laura if you can’t locate her. She’ll be wearing a white baseball cap with the Women’s Connection logo.

If the weather looks like rain, contact Laura Watson via text to confirm if the event is cancelled.
