The Health & Wellness Committee invites you to join us for an Acupuncture Talk with Women's Connection member, Dr. Sina Smith!
Your friends have all tried it, but does the thought of paying someone to poke you with tiny pins make you break out in a sweat? Do your family members swear by it for their pain, anxiety and insomnia, and hot flashes, but you just don't know who you can trust to explain acupuncture in a way that makes sense to you? Are you curious but skeptical to learn about how acupuncture can help with medical and dental issues that are preventing you from getting the care that you need?
Dr. Sina Smith trained as a general surgeon before pain and paralysis of her arm led to her to explore integrative and alternative treatments for her issues. She became fascinated with acupuncture and completed her degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine to become a licensed acupuncturist. She is a master teacher and “explainer” and will translate complex medical information in a way you can understand…and enjoy!
Join her for this talk and demonstration on how acupuncture works from a biomedical perspective and a Chinese medicine perspective and learn principles of how this whole body system of medicine can support you and your health goals.

If you are a member and cancel your registration before the specified deadline, you will receive a full refund as a credit to your account. You can use the credit to pay for another event or put it toward your annual dues payment. Non-members will receive a refund on their credit card, minus a $4 processing fee.
No refunds are available to members or non-members after the cancellation deadline.
