NORTHERN NEW JERSEY SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) bring together Northern New Jersey women who share common interests, activities or goals. For more information, email us.

ATTENTION FILM FANATICS!

We have two groups for movie fans! Join our long running Movie Group to discuss recent films with other movie enthusiasts. The group meets monthly, in the evening, via Zoom, to discuss two or three films. Films are available on streaming platforms, as well as in movie theaters. Alternatively, you can join the Foreign Film Fans group which sees a foreign or independent film together, in theaters, then discusses the film at a nearby restaurant. Typically this group meets in the afternoon, on short notice.

ATTENTION BOOK LOVERS!

If it doesn’t matter whether you read fiction or non-fiction, as long as it’s good writing, join our Book Group. Members recommend books that strike their fancy, agree upon a monthly selection, read it, then discuss it. Discussions are held every month, via ZOOM or, occasionally, in-person.

ATTENTION COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS!

By participating in events sponsored by the Women Of Impact you can help others and enjoy the camaraderie of women who want to make a difference! Our mission is: "Using our privilege to support women and families without privilege."

ATTENTION RESTAURANT LOVERS!

Do you enjoy trying different restaurants with friends? We offer two groups which meet every other month for lunch or dinner. Join The Dine Arounds North, which for restaurants in Bergen and Rockland counties. Or join Essex Plus Dine Arounds, for Essex and Union counties and nearby areas.

ATTENTION OUTDOOR LOVERS!

If you enjoy walking with friends and enjoying a bite to eat afterwards, join our Walking Women Who Lunch group. This group meets one Saturday morning per month for a short walk in Essex or Union County, and brunch or lunch.
