It’s Women's Connection’s most rewarding experience.  Member volunteers are the creators of Women’s Connection activities and chapter functions.  We learn (and teach!) new skills, share experiences, develop friendships, and build long-lasting relationships.

Interested in becoming a volunteer?  A small amount of time is all it takes.  You won’t have to do this alone. We’ve got your back.  Below are volunteer opportunities that will keep the DC Chapter growing for our members:

• Event Planners:  What event or activity do you wish Women’s Connection-DC would do?  Help plan the event to make it happen!

• Event Posting Support: Help event planners write event descriptions.  We’ll show you how to post to our event calendar and you will help keep it up to date.

• Peer Group Leaders:  Peer Groups are one of the best benefits of Women's Connection.  If we don’t have one that meets your needs, we probably need a leader.  Could that be you?

• Community Giving:  “Giving back” is a core value for Women’s Connection. If you’ve been looking for a way to support non-profits in our local community, consider engaging other Women’s Connection members in your cause.

• Community Outreach: Help get our Chapter visible. Share your creativity and public relations skills.

• Social Media Support:  If you speak Facebook or Instagram or "X" (Twitter) or any of them, help us create and maintain a social media presence.

• Online Forum Support: The Women’s Connection website has a function that allows members to message Chapter members.  If you are (or want to be) slightly tech savvy, help ensure each forum is working smoothly.
