Caring Collaborative

General Information

The Caring Collaborative is an all-volunteer program of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter of Women's Connection, a National Organization for women over 50. Its purpose is to support the health and well-being of members who are experiencing certain life challenges, medical concerns, or temporary needs due to illness or injury. The Caring Collaborative (CC) services are there to provide a safety net and to promote the healthy independence of our chapter members. In order to participate in giving and receiving services a chapter member must become a member of the Caring Collaborative.

The Caring Collaborative is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical or counseling services.

The members of our MSP Chapter's Caring Collaborative (CC) are ready and waiting to be called into service. The two key components of the CC are:

  • Service Corps- we offer mutual assistance to one another, whether it is a ride to an appointment, running an errand, delivering a meal, or a friendly phone call during a challenging time. (We follow Minnesota Health Department Covid Guidelines).
  • MIX (Member Information Exchange)- members are able to request and/or respond to health-related questions regarding resources, provider recommendations, a shared health experience or diagnosis or other types of requests.
  • We have an email address for such requests:  mspcaringcollaborative@ttnwomen.org
  •

Being a part of the CC is an added benefit of MSP Chapter Membership. We operate through a dedicated email box and maintain strict confidentiality when answering requests. If you are a chapter member who is interested in knowing more about joining the collaborative, please email us at mspcaringcollaborative@ttnwomen.org
