You never imagined you would be a statistic after all these years of marriage. Yet, you now find yourself contemplating or in the midst of what is known as gray divorce, a term used to describe splitting up over age 50.  If you are divorcing later in life, you are not alone!  Almost one in four married couples over age 50 divorce. The numbers are even higher for second and subsequent marriages. You may be surprised to learn that 66% of gray divorces are initiated by women.

Join Linda Hershman, LMFT and author of "Gray Divorce: Everything You Need to Know About Later-Life Breakups", as she discusses the reasons for, the upsides, and the downsides of later-life breakups. For those who are divorce questioning, Linda will answer some of your questions about how to make a decision on whether to stay or go. She will address the unique impact of gray divorce on adult children of divorce (ACODs). Whether you are divorce questioning, initiating divorce or it is being thrust on you, Linda will provide resources and ways in which you can support yourself through the process.
