Julie Collins is a national speaker, and is currently a field organizer for Red Wine and Blue, a group working to get suburban women involved in issues and in the political process. Mrs. Collins is a former city councilwoman from the city of Pataskala, Ohio. She is the only African American ever elected to Pataskala City Council. In addition, Julie is a former president of the Licking County branch of NAACP and a former member of the Mental Health and Recovery Board for Licking and Knox counties.
A graduate of Otterbein University and Central Michigan University, she and her husband Leo have four millennials, Christopher, Matthew, Brittany and Sarah. Julie Collins is Black Women's History.
Red Wine & Blue (RWB) is a 501 (c) (4) organization operating out of suburban swing districts in the United States, RWB engages women at a grassroots level and drives media narratives to better reflect issues faced by the "everyday woman".
The organization manages a weekly podcast "The Suburban Women Problem",a 215,000-member Facebook group, SWEEP (Suburban Women Engaged, Empowered, and Pissed), and publishes a weekly newsletter, The Sip. Red Wine Blue
